Universal Mill

Introduction

The WF series dust-free pulverifier features high crushing efficiency, large output and simple structure. It is suitable for crushing a wide range of materials and widely applied in the pulverizing processes of pharmaceutical, chemical, food, spice, resin and powder industries. It can process both fibrous materials and granular materials.

The machine boasts a simple structure, sturdy and durable design, stable operation, low noise, excellent pulverizing performance and easy maintenance. It is an ideal dedicated equipment for material crushing.

Work principle

This unit utilizes the relative motion between the rotating cutter disc and the fixed cutter disc to crush materials through impact, friction, and mutual collision between particles.

The pulverized materials are automatically conveyed into the collection bag under the action of rotating centrifugal force. Meanwhile, dust is recovered via bag filtration in the dust suction box.

 Dust-free Pulverizer

The motor drives the main shaft to rotate via belt transmission. Materials to be crushed enter the pulverizing chamber through the feeding inlet. Inside the high-speed rotating airflow, the materials undergo impact and friction, and are further pulverized and collided in the gaps between the cutter disc, screen mesh, grinding blocks and crushing blades.

Materials that reach the required fineness pass through the screen mesh and flow out from the discharge hopper. Those that do not meet the mesh size are repeatedly crushed and impacted until the required fineness is achieved. This enables the finished product to feature uniform particle size and narrow particle size distribution.

 WF Series Pulverizer


During the material pulverizing process, the motor runs at a high speed, driving the materials to rotate rapidly inside the machine chamber and forming an airflow. This airflow carries away the heat generated by material friction out of the chamber.

Grinding Machine


This equipment is equipped with a dust collection device. Its working principle is mainly as follows: dust generated during discharging from the pulverizer chamber is sucked into the filter bag. Through rapping or pulse jet cleaning, the dust adhered to the filter cloth is shaken down into the collecting barrel. This realizes full utilization of materials and reduces material loss.

  • High crushing capacity with low energy consumption, delivering relatively fine product fineness.

  • Equipped with a dust removal system; air is discharged through the separation device to prevent dust dispersion in the workshop. Centralized dust removal is available when an optional exhaust dust cabinet is configured, effectively improving the working environment.

  • It features a large crushing chamber. The high air pressure generated by the rotating movable cutter disc not only boosts production capacity and reduces over-crushing, but also effectively prevents material deposition and screen mesh clogging during the crushing process.

  • The screen mesh adopts an insertion-type design, featuring easy installation, long service life and reliable positioning.

  • The crushing chamber can be optionally equipped with air cooling or water cooling modes, which effectively avoid excessive and rapid temperature rise inside the chamber. It is suitable for processing heat-sensitive materials that tend to soften or even melt at high temperatures.

  • Multiple optional crushing cutter discs are available, including universal tooth-disc type, blade type, straight knife type and fixed blade type, to match different material characteristics with the optimal disc configuration.

  • Simple and robust structure with stable operation. It achieves fast, uniform and high-efficiency material crushing performance.

  • The whole machine is made of stainless steel. All tooth grooves inside the crushing chamber are precisely machined for a smooth inner surface, enabling easy cleaning. It solves the problems of rough inner wall, powder accumulation and difficult cleaning of ordinary pulverizers. It complies with the production standards of food, pharmaceutical, chemical and other industries, and meets GMP hygiene requirements.

Structure

The machine consists of a frame, feeding hopper, discharge hopper, motor, fan (optional), filter, dust removal box, pulse jet dust cleaning system, air storage tank, screen mesh, material barrel trolley (optional), vacuum discharger (optional), casters (optional), crushing system and control box.

  • The feeding hopper adopts a humanized design for convenient standing operation.

    It is equipped with a hopper cover, and the inserting plate structure allows manual adjustment of the feeding inlet size.

  • The hopper cover is fitted with a 30-mesh sintered mesh breather to ensure smooth feeding.

  • The outer surface is wire-drawn finished, and the inner surface is mirror polished.

    Multiple optional crushing disc types are available: universal tooth disc type, blade type, straight blade type and fixed blade type.

    The crushing chamber can be configured with air cooling or water cooling to avoid excessive temperature rise of materials during crushing. Water cooling adopts jacket circulation, while air cooling directly supplies compressed air into the crushing chamber.

    The crushing chamber is designed with a front opening door, sealed with silicone rubber gaskets, and equipped with a proximity sensor to detect the open/closed status of the door.

    Movable cutters are installed in a staggered arrangement on the movable tooth disc.
