Main functions and process

The ZKQT series Lifting Pneumatic Vacuum Feeder uses a vacuum generator for feeding. Compact and equipped with a lifting function, it is ideal for conveying powder or granular materials. It is mainly used for automatic feeding of blenders, bins, tablet presses, mills, wet granulators, dry granulators, and crushers, reducing labor intensity and preventing dust spillage during material charging.


Working Principle

Pressing the “ON/OFF” button admits compressed air into the vacuum generator and, at the same time, the pneumatic cylinder closes the hopper discharge door. A vacuum is thus created inside the hopper. This vacuum generates an air stream that conveys the product through the suction hose into the vacuum hopper. After the preset loading time (adjustable), the compressed-air supply is shut off, the pneumatic vacuum generator stops, and the discharge door is opened by the cylinder. The vacuum disappears, so the material drops automatically into the downstream equipment (tablet press, packaging machine, etc.). Simultaneously, compressed air stored in the reservoir back-flushes the filter, cleaning it automatically. After the preset discharge time (also adjustable), the compressed air is re-introduced, vacuum is re-established, the discharge door closes, and a new loading cycle begins. The sequence repeats continuously, keeping the receiving equipment constantly supplied.

For units fitted with level sensors, feeding is fully automatic. When the material in the receiver hopper reaches the high-level probe, the vacuum loader stops; when the level falls below the low-level probe, the loader restarts automatically, thus maintaining a consistent charge in the downstream equipment.
